QuizTime Privacy Policy

QuizTime (“we”, “us”) is operated by CTech AI. This policy explains what data the QuizTime mobile and web apps collect and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account: sign-in identifiers from Google, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, or email (via Firebase Auth), plus the display name and avatar you choose in the app.
• Gameplay: match results, XP, ratings, achievements, friends, challenges, packs you unlock, and related progress stored on our servers.
• Approximate location: country, region, and city derived from public IP (no GPS) so “Near you” topics and local boards work.
• Device: a device registration id, platform, and basic device metadata for session and push-related features.
• Purchases: Play / App Store purchase tokens for remove-ads and pack unlocks (processed by the store; we store entitlement state).
• Ads: AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and standard ad-serving data when ads are shown.
• Analytics (optional): when enabled in a build, Firebase Analytics may record screens and in-app events.

How we use data

To run matches, keep scores fair, show friends and boards, unlock purchases, serve or hide ads, fix bugs, and improve QuizTime.

Sharing

We use processors such as Google Firebase (Auth, Analytics when enabled), Google AdMob (ads), and our own API hosting. We do not sell personal data.

Retention & deletion

Account and progress data stay while your account exists. You can delete your account from in-app Settings; we then remove associated profile and progress from our servers subject to normal backup windows.

Children

QuizTime is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under the age required in your country.
